Mistakes lead the Flames to a loss vs Vanguard Lions

COSTA MESA, Calif. – The Flames keep up a good 'fight', but give in at the end of the game vs. Vanguard Lions.

The Flames are familiar with the Lions' roster due to scheduled three games throughout the season. Even though the Flames have experienced shortage in the roster and a few injuries, they have not given up on this season to give their seniors a competitive last season of their careers. Up until the 5th inning the Flames were not too far behind 0-2, but in the 6th inning Lions were able to realize five runs on top of the two runs in the beginning of the game. Later on Flames realized two runs while Lions got three more. Game finished with the end-of-the-game score 10-2 for Lions. Scorers for the Flames were Nathan Munoz and Luis Perea with one run each. Starting pitcher Marco Perea pitched five innings, faced twenty-nine batters, and forced one strikeout.

Next upcoming game series for the Flames are on April 20-21 vs. USK.
